🩸 HOLLOWWATCH 🩸

It is not a monster. It is someone… or something… watching you.

Something lives at the edge of the forest. Two white eyes, glowing in the dark, far between the trees. You turn around, and it is gone. You turn back, and it is closer.

The Hollowwatch only moves when you are not looking. Meet its eyes and it has already decided.

👁️ IT WATCHES

• Stalks from the dark: it appears far away, outside your view, and moves only when you look away
• Eye contact is a death sentence: hold its gaze and it comes for you. Look away fast enough and you might live
• Whistles and grunts from the wrong direction to make you turn around or leave your shelter
• Clings to ceilings and walls like a spider, head turning 180°, and drops on you if you walk underneath

🏃 IT HUNTS

• Relentless chase on all fours: it leaps, lunges and strikes without breaking its gallop
• Climbs walls and pillars, crouches and crawls through tunnels, and vaults through windows head first
• Tears through leaves and logs, ambushes you in front when you run in a straight line
• Every strike takes half your health and ignores armour

🏠 YOUR HOUSE IS NOT SAFE

• Smashes windows (even several layers of glass) and dives through the gap
• Breaks down doors, or the weakest wall, and picks the fastest way in
• Finds holes in your walls and uses them
• Locked yourself in too well? It gives up… but it remembers.

😈 IT HOLDS A GRUDGE

Every time you survive, its grudge grows. It comes back more often, sooner and angrier.

At grudge 2 you get a message in chat: “You were warned.” After that it hunts in a frenzy: faster, never gives up, and smashes every block between you and it.

Only a kill resets the grudge.

💀 THE END

When a strike would be lethal, it does not just hit you. It grabs you by the neck, drags you to its face, and devours you in an 8-second cinematic scene, followed by a custom death screen. Then it sinks into the ground and vanishes.

👥 MULTIPLAYER

• Hunts one player at a time and switches prey when someone is easier to reach
• Protected players get the next one chosen. If nobody can be reached, it vanishes and every one of them earns a grudge
• More players, more appearances per day

⚔️ FIGHT BACK (IF YOU DARE)

• 50 health, heavy armour, takes reduced damage
• Never flees. Below 35% health it goes berserk: red eyes, faster, stronger
• Players and Iron Golems can hurt it

⚙️ FULLY CONFIGURABLE

• Appearances per day, damage, speed, health, hunt chance, grudge level and frenzy
• Block breaking and mob griefing options
• Client options for the faint of heart: loud sound volume, flashing light, camera shake, skip the execution scene, gore level
• Test commands: /hollowwatch spawn, schedule, debug and more (permission level 2)

⚠️ WARNING

This mod contains jumpscares, very loud sounds, flashing images and a brutal death scene. Everything can be adjusted in the config. Not recommended for the faint of heart, or for playing alone at night.
