A complete Christmas transportation mod for Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 featuring wild reindeer herds, vanilla Lead hitching mechanics, Santa’s Sleigh with physics-inspired flight (inspired by PeterWolf’s Planes), festive jingle bells, and magical particle trails.

🦌 Wild Reindeer & Migrating Herds

Natural Quadruped Model: Custom Nordic deer model with animated branching antlers, 4 fully animated walking legs, and stylized Minecraft proportions. 6 Natural Variants:   – Brown: Classic warm brown coat with lighter underside and muzzle.   – Dark Brown: Deep rich chocolate/charcoal brown.   – Light Brown: Warm caramel tan.   – Winter White: Snowy silver-white coat.   – Spotted: Fawn with white spots across the flank.   – Rudolph (Ultra Rare): Legendary red-nosed reindeer with a glowing nose, sparkling red aura, and enhanced flight power! Herd Behavior & AI:   – Naturally spawns in herds (6–15, large herds up to 30+) in snowy biomes (Snowy Plains, Ice Spikes, Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Grove, Frozen River, Frozen Ocean, Snowy Slopes).   – Synchronized herd wandering, leader following, group grazing, and coordinated panic reactions when predators or danger approach. Taming & Breeding:   – Feed Sweet Berries, Apples, or Golden Carrots to tame.   – Tamed reindeer follow players, never despawn, and can be hitched to Santa’s Sleigh.   – Breeding produces adorable baby reindeer with smaller proportions and antler stubs.

🪢 Lead Hitching Mechanics

Uses the native vanilla Lead (minecraft:lead). Right-Click wild or tamed reindeer with a Lead to leash and lead them. Right-Click Santa’s Sleigh while leading reindeer (or holding a Lead near tamed reindeer) to hitch them into the next formation slot. Shift + Right-Click the sleigh to unhitch and release all reindeer (giving back your Leads). Right-Click an individual hitched reindeer to release just that reindeer.

🛷 Santa’s Sleigh & Multi-Reindeer Formations

Festive Model: Upward-curling golden runners touching the ground, crimson wooden hull with gold filigree trim, upholstered seating, and a rear cargo bay stacked with presents and Santa’s burlap gift sack. Dynamic 2-Column Formations:   – 2 Reindeer: Basic flight formation (Row 1).   – 4 Reindeer: Standard flight formation (Rows 1–2).   – 6 Reindeer: Fast flight formation (Rows 1–3).   – 8 Reindeer: Maximum magical performance team (Rows 1–4)! Visible Harnesses: 3D rope/harness connections rendered between the sleigh and reindeer pairs. Animated Mid-Air Running: During flight, hitched reindeer animate their legs sprinting through the air and tilt with the sleigh’s flight path.

✈️ Flight Physics & Controls

Flight mechanics inspired by the smooth aerodynamics of PeterWolf’s Planes:

Flight Activation: Requires at least 2 hitched reindeer + player in the driver’s seat. Controls:   – W: Throttle Up / Accelerate (forward movement required for steering)   – S: Throttle Down / Brake / Reverse   – A / D: Steer Left / Right (steering authority scales realistically with speed—no spinning in place while stopped!)   – Space: Climb (pitch up & engage magical reindeer lift)   – Shift: Descend / Dive   – Mouse: Camera steering with natural roll banking into turns   – Sneak (dismount): Exit sleigh Flight Telemetry HUD: Clean cockpit overlay displaying airspeed (m/s & km/h), altitude, vertical climb rate (V/S), throttle bar, and active reindeer count / Rudolph status. Festive Effects & Sounds:   – Jingle bells that ring during flight, modulating with speed.   – Shimmering golden stars, crimson sparkles, and snow particle trails.   – Gliding synergy on snow and ice.

Commands

/reindeer summon [variant] — Summons a specific reindeer variant (brown, dark_brown, light_brown, winter_white, spotted, rudolph). /reindeer herd [count] — Spawns a coordinated herd with an elected leader. /reindeer tame — Tames the nearest reindeer. /sleigh summon [reindeer_count] — Summons a sleigh with 0 to 8 pre-hitched reindeer ready to fly! /sleigh debug — Displays live vehicle telemetry and flight physics stats.
