Crimson Age is a modpack based on NeoForge 1.21.1 built around a dark gothic vampire horror theme.
The world is called Valdris — a continent cursed by an ancient forgotten god named Varek, whose dying curse created vampirism. Vampire Forests called The Crimson Lands covers the world, a permanent fog-shrouded biome where vampires roam freely and Vampire Barons rule.
Players can become vampires, hunters, mages, engineers, or anything in between. There are no preset factions — players create their own groups, claim territory by building and defending it, form alliances, betray each other, and write the story themselves.
The tech backbone is Create, with airships (Aeronautics), trains, artillery cannons, diesel generators, and industrial automation. Magic systems include Ars Nouveau, Occultism, and Malum for spellcasting, demon summoning, and dark rituals. Combat is overhauled with Better Combat for fluid weapon-based fights.
