Steam & Heat Management: Steam is your lifesaver and your ultimate resource. Portable and stationary boilers generate pressure to power your weapons, tools, and heavy Exo-Armor. But keep an eye on your pressure gauges—running into an Overpressure State balances on the thin line between maximum efficiency and a catastrophic boiler explosion!

Chrono-Aether & Divergence: Aetherial Energy is an elite, end-game cosmic resource that allows you to manipulate the timeline. Blink through space, freeze enemies in stasis, or deploy temporal shields. However, the universe fights back: the Chrono-Divergence system tracks how much you distort time each day. Abuse your time-bending gadgets too much, and your maximum daily limit will shrink, forcing you to sleep to stabilize the space-time continuum!

• Aetheric Chrono Cleaver: A massive cosmic blade that stores temporal energy with every strike to unleash devastating time-ripping combos.
• Kinetic Dirk: A sleek, aerodynamic dagger built for lightning-fast teleportation strikes. Blink behind targets or flash through danger.
• Steam Blaster: A pneumatic handgun that fires high-velocity steam bullets (steam_bullet).

• Clockwork Wrench: The engineer’s multi-tool. Instantly rotate Create-compatible mechanisms, service your custom blocks, and instantly clear clogged valves on your boilers.
• Steam Condenser: An automated module designed to condense, filter, and collect clean water and recycled steam.
• Steam Sentry Piston: Deploy mechanical traps and automated defenses on the fly.
• Chrono Magic Watch: A pocket timepiece used to accurately track temporal fields and daily divergence levels.

Armor & Accessories:

• Steam Exo-Armor: A full mechanical exoskeleton set (Helmet, Chestplate, Greaves, Boots). When supplied with enough steam pressure, it grants immense defensive buffs, high knockback resistance, and incredible speed.
• Aether Goggles: Specialized brass eyewear allowing you to perceive hidden temporal anomalies, analyze mob attributes, and read detailed boiler pressure metrics.

Automation & Entities: Explore dangerous industrial environments and face unique mechanical threats:

• Steam Sentry: An automated stationary turret that locks onto hostile targets and showers them with pneumatic spikes.
• Copper Drone: A hovering utility automaton designed for scouting ahead and tactical air support.
• Cast Iron Centurion: A massive, heavily armored automaton. A terrifying boss-level foe or a supreme defender of your stronghold.
• Steam Stoker: A rusty mechanical worker that fires bursts of superheated smog, inflicting the dreaded Clogged Valves debuff to instantly disable your steam gear.
• Oil Sludge & Sludge Puddle: Sentient industrial slimes and sticky oil puddles that heavily slow players down—but beware, spraying them with the Thermal Incinerator will cause a massive chain-reaction fire explosion!

Technical Stack & Dependencies

Flywheels of Fate requires the following libraries and core API components to function correctly. When using the CurseForge app or any modern launcher, these dependencies will be downloaded automatically.

Required Environment:

• Minecraft Version: 1.20.1
• Fabric Loader: 0.15.11 or higher
• Java Version: Java 17

• Cardinal Components API (CCA): Drives our background data system, safely storing player capabilities like steam boiler pressure and chrono-aether energy metrics.
• Better Combat & playeranimator: Rewrites the attack logic for our advanced weapons (Aetheric Chrono Cleaver, Steam Ripper, Kinetic Dirk) into fluid, physics-accurate combos with custom animation blending.
• Trinkets: Expands your survival inventory with specialized technical slots for steam boilers, tactical chronometers, and goggles.
• Cloth Config API: The internal configuration system driving customizable weapon balancing and heat consumption rules.

Optional Integrations (Highly Recommended):

• Create Fabric: Enables seamless kinetic integration, allowing players to power industrial Aetherial Condensers using high RPM factories.
• Combat Roll: Syncs tactical combat rolling and tracking dodging directly into the speed matrices of the Steam Exo-Armor.
• ModMenu: Provides an in-game graphical interface to edit your local balance configs right from the Minecraft main menu.
