CobbleTCG Client

The optional client side of CobbleTCG, a Pokémon TCG system for Cobblemon servers. Join a server that runs CobbleTCG and your cards come to life: real card art in your inventory, full-screen HD viewing and booster packs you open by hand.

This mod does nothing on its own. It only works on servers that run CobbleTCG. You can still play on those servers without it.

Features

HD card viewer

• Open any card in full screen with its real artwork.
• Holo cards shine and follow your mouse.
• Works from your hand, chat links, your collection and the duel table.

Booster pack opening

• Tear the pack open by swiping across it.
• Reveal the cards one by one, rarest last.
• Each rarity has its own sound and effect.
• Big pulls are celebrated; common ones are quick to skip.

Real card thumbnails

• Cards in any inventory or menu show their actual artwork instead of a generic icon.
• In your collection’s set albums, the cards you are still missing are shown darkened, so you know what to look for when trading.

Duel table

• A full-screen table for 1v1 matches.
• Drag and drop cards between your hand, bench, active spot, discard pile and prizes.
• Spectators and judges see the same table.

Follows your language

• Buttons and texts follow your game language. The server can also send its own texts.

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader (with Fabric API) or NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Put the jar for your loader in your mods folder.
3. Join a server that runs CobbleTCG.

Settings

config/CobbleTCG/client.json lets you turn thumbnails, effects and sounds on or off, and change the image cache size.

Network use

To show card images, the mod downloads them when a server asks for them, only from:

• images.pokemontcg.io and images.scrydex.com;
• the server you are playing on, for its own custom cards.

Images are cached in the cobbletcg-cache folder. Other hosts can be allowed in client.json (allowedHosts). No personal data is collected or sent.
