No mining, no crafting minecraft 😉

I tried to keep the modpack small but my testing machine was upgraded – I’m not sure this can be called a light project anymore.

This tries to fix Minecraft for me: there is no need for killing monsters – (well, you’ll need ender-pearls), and only one trip to the nether required.

there are machines to mine, process resources, manage resources, generate resources, and build.

All these changes the game but still gives the player the feeling of accomplishment.

Based around the mods:

Create: can do anything, good for begin / middle / end game phases – lots of fun – just try it.

Cyclic, resource processing, power

Bigger Reactors: power

RF Builder: resource collection – I said no mining.

Ore bushes / ultimate Sky Block Resource Generator: resource generation – did I say no mining already?

Storage Drawers / Colossal chest: storage

Refined Storage: resource manipulation and crafting

Beyond Earth: don’t feel trapped – nice meteorites with resources

… and others …

there are no electric/RF/FE furnaces – must use Create mod or Iron Furnaces with coal 🙁

Who’s afraid of the nether? I’m afraid of the nether! – recommend switching to peaceful when going to the nether

Who’s annoyed with the monsters? I’m annoyed with the monsters – recommend switching to peaceful once you are so powerful that monsters are no longer a threat.

Don’t forget to install OptiFine specially if your system is not the fastest.

Bugs:

– the farm land block has no texture, you’ll want to hide those…

– seems to have a Out of Memory problem – long (depending on memory allocated) AFK sessions will crash the game
