JCMF Craft

NOTE: There may be bugs as testing is still underway.

This modpack is a Pixelmon modpack specifically for the twitch streamer JustCallMeFin and people who would like to play on his server with him. A fair amount of effort was put into preparing the modpack so I thought others might enjoy it too, especially because everything is very updatable- the only mod really obviously getting updates being Pixelmon 1.16.5. 

Here’s a brief rundown of key points of interest other than the most current Pixelmon version. More extensive explanations are available by checking the mods individually.

Optifine is recommended which improves running the modpack and allows adding shaders. Some popular shaders have been tested to confirm they work but nothing all-encompassing.

OST is not inherently enabled for a reason I cannot find the fix for but there is one there that will work, it’s just not the newest version i.e. there are a few released tracks missing.

Two mods that provide minimaps/maps. Settings and adjustments can be accessed with the J and M to toggle the full-screen versions but the minimap that is shown by default deals with the J key’s associated map settings.

Crafting got tweaked to add some useful controls and keybinds, should be intuitive but they are significantly noteworthy that you need to actively access. I.e. there are added crafting-related buttons in the crafting interface.

The recipe is by default toggled off. (It was hiding things in some cases.) But can be toggled to be visible with tab.

Optimine is included and keybound to `. If you’re unfamiliar try testing breaking a block while holding the key down and see what happens, it saves time but it is very destructive so use it with caution. 

Commands that are useful that are included :

/ftbteams – allows for team progression and sharing access to claims.

/nick <name…> – Changes nickname in chat

/hat – Puts item currently in the main hand in helmet slot making it your ‘hat’

/kickme – Kicks yourself from the server (in case the bed bug ever returns)

/trashcan – Opens an inventory where items get deleted when placed in and closed

Chests and barrels can be upgraded to hold more items.

Sophisticated Backpacks – best backpacks we have/existing for modded Minecraft

Nature’s Compass – locates a biomes

Explorer’s Compass – locates structures.

You can claim an area to protect it, to claim something access your inventory and click on the FTB Chunks Icon in the top left corner, and then again in the top left corner after you click there should be an icon that will let you alter your claims.

Botania – a tech mod themed around natural magic focusing on automation, renewability, and not having it look hideous.
