Cam Utilities is a client-side Minecraft mod that expands standard camera capabilities. The mod runs entirely on the client and does not require installation on the server.

Features

Dynamic Zoom:
- Smooth camera FOV zooming with configurable magnification factors (from 1.2x up to 50.0x).
- Zoom level adjustment via mouse scroll while holding the zoom key.
Camera Detaching (Freecam):
- Detaches and locks the camera at its current world position, allowing the player to move and interact with the world within the camera’s view.
- Useful for inspecting builds, redstone contraptions, or viewing player actions from fixed vantage points.
Adjustable Third-Person Distance:
- Alters the camera distance in third-person mode within a 0.5 to 100 block range (vanilla default is 4 blocks).
- Adjusted using mouse wheel scroll while holding the modifier key.
Custom Perspective Presets:
- Two customizable camera offsets with individual X, Y, Z translation offsets, pitch/yaw tilt, and distance settings (e.g., over-the-shoulder or cinematic angles).
Cinematic Camera Smoothing:
- Configurable rotational and translational inertia for smooth camera panning.
In-Game Configuration Screen:
- A Sodium/Reese’s Options inspired UI for adjusting speeds, smoothness curves, zoom limits, and preset offsets without restarting the game.
