Modpackcraft

Modpackcraft is a variety pack that mixes adventure/rpg-based modpacks like with some of the usual tech and magic mods, whilst trying to keep things as balanced as possible.

Adding dungeons, new dimensions, and harder enemies adds new weight to those cool items you gained access to by building multiblock engineering structures and researching the arcane arts. Dimensional exploration is integral to the exploration aspect of this pack: Abyssalcraft, The Betweenlands, The Twilight Forest, The Lost Cities, and various other mods allow for significantly more exploration. I’ve messed with the configs from many of the big mods in this pack to help with balance and quality of life; for instance, Lycanite mobs can no longer spawn on you as a result of certain blocks being broken, like ore, trees, or crops.

Difficulty is a core idea of the pack, so the slimesling and slimeboots from Tinker’s Construct are gone. They are a little too strong of an early game movement option and negate pretty much every other kind of early to mid-game movement tool. I tried to get rid of any creative-mode flight sources to encourage alternatives, like flying mounts, grappling hooks, double jumps, grappling hooks, or grappling hooks. Please let me know if you think an item or strategy in the modpack is too powerful or too weak and I’ll see if I can modify it.
