🧭 BT-01 ▸ Your First Hour

1️⃣ A casing – Xuan Iron at the corners, Low spirit stones at the edges, an iron block in the middle: two from one craft.

2️⃣ An Unwinder – your first power: Xuan Iron, redstone and Mid spirit stones round a casing.

3️⃣ Feed it 💎 – right-click to open it and drop a stone in, or set a hopper on top. A Low stone becomes 10 SE, unwound at 1,000 FE a tick.

4️⃣ Run the power out ⚡ – from its sides and bottom into an FE Cable, any mod’s cable, or a line of Energy Relays.

5️⃣ Smelt with it 🔥 – the Electric Spirit Furnace: ore in at the top, results out of the bottom, power through the sides.

6️⃣ Set its faces 🧭 – the die-shaped button in any window: click a face to cycle in → out → closed, and a giving face pushes on its own. Every face wears its colour – red takes in, blue gives out, purple both, grey neither – and the Engineer’s Wrench shows them on the block itself.

The highest machines drink the heavens’ own qi, found in one place: Realm Expansion’s Myriad Realms. Anywhere else they stand idle with their lamps dark – and in a pack without the Myriad Realms they work wherever they stand.

The Sumeru Press – a world inside a grain of mustard seed, in five grades: a grid of thirty-seven slots in rows of 3, 5, 7, 7, 7, 5 and 3. Fill every slot with one thing, feed it SE, and it presses one of the tier above – and what you put in stays, in its slot, until you come back to finish. 🌌

• ⚫ Dense Coal x2 to x100 – thirty-seven of a tier make one of the next, exactly: x2 holds 37 coal, x3 1,369, x4 50,653, and every coal burns. A Low press reaches x10, an Immortal one x100
• 🔥 Every tier has a use – any Coal Generator burns any tier; the furnace takes x2 to x4; the coal road’s grade-ups ask x2, x3, x5 and x6; x7 to x10 each make ten of a heaven-tier part; and every tier from x11 makes Dark Matter

Every block and item has a worth – so much SE and so many atoms, of twenty-two elements: nineteen of the real world’s and three the cultivation world knows better, Netherite, Ender and Spirit. Plain things are cheap – stone and a plank 10 SE, a diamond 40 – and magical things are dear; hover anything to read it. 🔬

• 🔨 Matter Decompiler – breaks things into their atoms, as much of a stack as the store has room for, every cycle, and gives back a tenth of their worth as stable SE
• 🧪 Atomic Matter Storage – one block in five grades, 10 MB of atoms at Low to 2.56 GB at Immortal, with SE of its own; vessels touching join into one store, every element shown as an atom of its own
• 🔋 Matter Energy Port – pumps the store’s SE in or out, face by face
• 💽 Atomic Matter Drive – 100 kB to 100 MB of atoms carried from store to store
• 🖨️ Matter Compiler – search, choose a count, Print: anything with a worth printed back, a stack a cycle, for its atoms and a hundred times its worth in SE – its window alive with racing jade-and-gold light

• 🏗️ Walls that carry power and a Catwalk Grating for each current, its cable running beneath
• 🔁 Power Adapter – any current into what a block takes, losing half: the quick fix. ⚡ Current Transformers – the real thing, nothing lost

Seven kinds in five grades – 🟢 LED, 📊 Percent, Bar and Number, 📦 Inventory, 📈 Graph and 📝 Text – tied to any block by the Signal Link, reading a room’s air, any energy store, tank or inventory, redstone, or a machine’s own figures.

• 🧩 Screens join – side by side, one kind and grade, they become one great display, up to ten each way; Screen Blocks face any way and fuse on walls, floors and ceilings
• 📊 Everything it holds – a bar for every store a block keeps, a page at a time
• 🧾 The Inventory Screen is a terminal – one searchable, sortable list of everything a linked inventory holds, and the Signal Link ties up to a hundred chests into one list
• 📡 Screens need power – by job, from 10 FE a second idle to 100 reading a whole machine; an Immortal screen is born charged with 1,000,000 J; Wireless Power Emitters feed them from 10 to 160 blocks
• 🎨 Disguises – any screen turns see-through, the Engineer’s Wrench paints a screen or machine or dresses it as any block you carry, and the Chameleon Lens wears the look of the block behind it

Nine machines in five grades that put real air into a sealed room: the Water Splitter and Hydrogen Engine, the Oxygen Gatherer and Oxygen Refiner – which keeps 200 oxygen, 780 nitrogen, 10 argon and 10 carbon dioxide of every thousand mB – the Deatomizer and Reatomizer, the Oxygen Tank and Canister, the Oxygen Vent, and the Oxygen Detector.

🤔 Why is condensing so dear? So nobody makes a stone printer. 😄 A loop through both machines keeps one SE in ten thousand.

🤔 My Unwinder stopped taking stones. Its store is full – give its sides somewhere to send the power.

🤔 Safe in an old world? Yes. Machines placed before a change keep working exactly as they did.
