Marvel’s Portals

Your next destination is on your wrist — or your belt. Craft a dimensional wristwatch and a rune tome, save your favorite locations, and connect them with animated portals in two styles: Spider-Verse rings and Dr. Strange rings.

Features

• Connected portals: travel in both directions, within the same dimension or between dimensions, on foot or mounted.
• Two styles: Spider-Verse (30s) and Strange rings (45s).
• Saved destinations: store up to 32 locations per player, including names, coordinates, and dimensions.
• Wearables: equip the watch on your wrist or the tome on your belt; open either menu with G (one equipped at a time).
• Directional mouths: portals open perpendicular to your gaze — walls, floors, even over an abyss.

Getting Started

1. Craft the dimensional watch or the rune tome.
2. Right-click while holding it to equip it (wrist or belt).
3. Press G by default, or sneak + right-click with an empty hand.
4. Name and save your current location.
5. Select a destination and press open to link a portal pair.

Portals need free space to open; arrival snaps to solid ground when there is any below.

Requirements

• Minecraft Java 1.21.1
• Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
• Fabric API

For multiplayer, install Marvel’s Portals and Fabric API on both the server and every client.

Optional Integrations

• Accessories: wrist slot for the watch, belt slot for the tome.
• Mod Menu: configure distortion intensity and radius.

Default visual settings: 90% intensity and a 5-block radius.

Scope note: portals only transport players and their mounts. No mobs, pets, items, or projectiles travel — a deliberate design choice to preserve game difficulty.
