What is Parallax? What does it do?

Parallax is a modpack that aims to heavily improve performance and add various enhancements and improvements to the vanilla experience.

Can I use Parallax in servers? Is it client-side?

Yes, you can use Parallax in any vanilla server. Every mod in Parallax is client-side and can be used anywhere.

What if I don’t want one of the mods? Can I disable it?

You can disable a mod from Parallax by going into the CurseForge app, going to your modpacks page, right clicking Parallax, selecting ‘Profile Options‘, and enabling ‘Allow content management for this profile‘. You’ll then be able to enable or disable any mod you want by going into the mods tab in Parallax.

Can I add my own mods?

You can add your own mods to Parallax by following the same steps above, going into the mods tab of Parallax, and clicking the puzzle piece icon that says ‘Add More Content‘. You can then add any mod from CurseForge available for the games version.

Alternatively, you can also add mods from outside of CurseForge by going into the CurseForge app, going to your modpacks page, right clicking Parallax, selecting ‘Open Folder‘, and dragging the mods you’d like to add into the mods folder.
