Mekanist’s Manual

A Patchouli in-game guide for the Mekanism 10.7 mod family on Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge, originally developed for my own personal modpack

The book is organized around playable progression plus dedicated sections for the official Generators and Tools modules and optional addons such as Mekanism: MoreMachine and Mekanism Turrets & Fences. Only Mekanism and Patchouli are required. An always-visible directory reports missing optional modules and links to their project pages; installed modules replace those prompts with guide links.

Current coverage

• 83 entries and 838 Patchouli pages
• 410 visual recipe pages, including smithing
• 672 validated recipe outputs
• 28 process-flow and tier-chart pages
• 19 active Mekanism-family mods mapped to chapters

Validate and build

Validation reads the active instance JARs without changing them. It checks book JSON, category and relation links, displayed recipe IDs, mojibake, and recipe-grid coverage warnings.

It also reads scripts/book_scope.json to prove that every active Mekanism-family JAR in the target instance has its required chapter set. An active matching JAR without a scope mapping is a validation error.

The built JAR is written to build\libs. Building does not deploy it to the CurseForge instance.
