Saltpeter can be found in ores near the surface, in water-based biomes.

Sulfur can be found in the ground, not necessarily near the surface, in water-based biomes.

Saltpeter and Sulfur, along with Coal or Charcoal, can be used to craft gunpowder.

Lava Rock can be found in ores deep underground. It can be used as a Furnace Fuel, to smelt 16 items (twice as good as Coal). It can also be crafted into Torches, by replacing Coal in the standard recipe.

Lava Rock is relatively rare, spawning 6 times per chunk in groups of around 4.

This mod allows for the creation of Emerald armor and tools, along with Bread Armor (<leather)

Deposits of gold can be found in dirt in any biome, or in the sand in water-based biomes (i.e. River, Ocean). Each Gold Deposit drops 3 Gold Nuggets.

Deposits of iron can be found underground. Iron deposits spawn naturally in the place of stone, and each drop 3 Iron Nuggets.

Obsidian Ore can be found deep underground, and drops 3 Obsidian Shards.

9 Obsidian Shards can be crafted into a vanilla Obsidian Block.

4 Obsidian Shards can be crafted into 2 Obsidian Arrowheads, which can each replace Flint in the Arrow recipe in exchange for 3 Obsidian Arrows.

Obsidian Arrows can be fired from the Hunter’s Bow, which requires 1 Iron Ingot, 2 Obsidian Shards, 2 Sticks, 1 String, and 1 Bow.

Handles can be crafted from 2 sticks and 1 Iron Ingot.

The Battle Axe (Very slow and high-damage) can be crafted from 1 Steel, 2 Bronze, and 2 Handles.

Currently, there is an Orange food item, but it is not obtainable in Survival mode.

This mod adds 2 biomes:

Dreary Biome is a plain biome covered in grass and a material called “Dead Grass”, with small, bark-less trees, and a thick layer of Coarse Dirt underneath.

Volcanic Biome is a biome covered in Coarse Dirt, with Stone beginning directly below the topsoil layer. Good for mining, or finding Gold Deposits. May include lava in the future.

Most of the metals added by this mod respectively have Advancements linked to their acquirement. These Advancements unlock the crafting recipes related to the metals.

– Ore/deposit textures may not perfectly blend in with their surroundings

– Some ore are too common/rare (May have been fixed in 0.18.3)
