A Quiet Place: Death Angels

They do not need to see you. They only need to hear you.

A Quiet Place: Death Angels turns Minecraft into a survival horror experience inspired by A Quiet Place. After the meteors fall, blind, aggressive creatures begin hunting by sound. Running, attacking, breaking blocks, or crossing a trap can reveal your position.

Hiding behind a wall is not enough. You must control your noise and decide when to move, distract, or fight.

A threat that listens

• Adult Death Angels: pursue noises, attack prey, and climb to reach elevated targets.

• Juveniles: a variant of the alien threat without the adults’ climbing ability.

• The Queen: a powerful enemy that enters a focused listening state. Her ability brings warnings, visual effects, and a charge toward the source of a sound.

• Group hearing: multiple monsters can respond to the same audible sound.

• Animals are prey too: audible animal sounds can reveal their position and trigger a hunt.

Tools for survival

• Sound Level Meter: monitor your noise and nearby sounds from props and traps.

• Bottles and bricks: throw distractions to create noise away from your position.

• Bear Trap: watch your step; getting caught requires completing an escape challenge.

• Tripwire Bottle Trap: crossing the wire drops the bottles and makes noise. Interact with the bottles to attempt to disarm the trap.

• Wooden planks: place them carefully; fast movement during the interaction creates noise.

• Sandbags: build silent surfaces using each bag’s 20 sand portions.

• Hearing Aid: while held, it can emit a pulse that stuns nearby Death Angels, followed by a recharge period.

• Carapace equipment: armor helps reduce footstep noise, while the Carapace Blade offers a combat option.

A world after the meteors

Meteors leave craters and bring new threats. Nests, eggs, and alien materials shape this survival landscape. Players can still hear meteor audio, but meteor impacts do not attract monsters through the hearing system.

A sound’s range depends on its intensity and your settings. Water and ambient noise can prevent certain sounds from being detected; the Queen’s focused listening changes the protection provided by ambient noise. Monsters do not hear everything across the entire world without limits.

Configure options such as the initial grace period, meteor frequency, noise sensitivity, and hunting speed.

In this world, silence is more than a strategy. It is survival.
