Nostalgia-DW14 Edition

Nostalgia is a light modpack that reunites all the classic mods or their soul successors from 1.7.10. Play with well known mods like Thermal Foundation/Expansion, EnderIO and Industrial Foregoing ( successor of the old MineFactoryReloaded) or try out a few new ones like Ice and Fire or Chisels&Bits.

In essence, Nostalgia is a kitchensink modpack with no true goal. Each player can set his own set of goals. Let your creativity run wild building amazing structures in the beautiful biomes created by Biomes o’Plenty or have blast automating everything using the tech mods.

This pack is intendet to be used with OptiFine.

I recommend the SEUS standard shaderpack (which I’ll try to include in the shaders folder) NOTE: The SEUS shaderpack requires an nvidia graphics card in order to run.

Magic mods:

Nostalgia offers the player the chance to tinker with magic mods like Thaumcraft, Botania, Ice and Fire and Blood Magic, most of which offer in game documentation ( see Lexica Botania, Thaumonomicon, Bestiary and Sanguine Scientiem)

Tech mods:

The classic mods are making a comeback with the new Industrial foregoing and the reworked Thermal suit and EnderIO. This pack offers all the tech mods you know and love like Applied Energistics, Immersive Engineering, Thermal Expansion, Thermal Foundation, Thermal Dynamics, EnderIO, Industrial Foregoing, Actually Additions, Buildcraft, Extra Utilities, Extreme Reactors, Forestry, Funky Locomotion, RFTools and Solar Flux Reborn, which yill help you in your quest to automate everything! (if you want to do automation, of course).

Aesthetic/World gen/Structure gen:

I’ve included a few mods that change the appearance of the Minecraft world like Biomes o’Plenty, Additional Structures and Ferdinand’s Flowers. The chisel and chisels&bits duo is here to make your builds stand out, providing a plethora of textures and block customization. Combine those with a shader and you’ve got an eye pleasing view.

Utility mods:

A few mods to make your life easier: /dank/null, openblocks, not enough wands, builders wands, fast leaf decay, ender storage, storage drawers, journey map, iron chests and more.
