About
Cryptic Foes is a mod that makes your minecraft experience more interesting & challenging by adding new enemies to your world. New dungeons and bosses are also planned for the future
Features
Howler
Howlers are peculiar cave dwellers, who can be found in caves below 0 by y. Howlers can be seen sleeping on cave ceilings and won’t hurt you, unless you disturb their precious sleep.
- Howlers can use their powerful scream to stun everything on their way
- “Stunned” effect prevents target from every action, but disappears if target gets damaged
- Howler drops its membranes
- Cave salad is a new food item with some “interesting” side effect
- Monstrous horn can be used to create the same powerful screams as howler
- Silencing blend can be used on any block to remove its sounds
- Screamer is a new redstone block that knock backs mobs

Cryptic Foes 支持 Minecraft Java 版 1.20.1，可用的加载器：Forge。下载时注意选择和你游戏版本一致的文件。
Cryptic Foes 怎么安装？
先用 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器安装对应版本的 Forge，再把下载的 .jar 文件放进游戏目录的 mods 文件夹，重新启动游戏即可。开启了版本隔离的，mods 文件夹在 versions/版本名 下面。运行环境：客户端和服务端都要装。
