Aegis Ascension is a fan-made combat and progression addon for Tensura: Reincarnated. It expands character building through evolving skills, custom races, summonable weapons, quests, boss encounters, defensive constructs, and cinematic visual effects.

Development Status

Aegis Ascension is currently in active development. Some abilities, quests, balance values, animations, and visual effects may change between releases.

The MartialMeshLib rendering library is already included inside the main mod file.

When the related projects are configured as required dependencies, the CurseForge App will install the available dependencies automatically.

**Aegnis: Sovereign Eclipse** expands combat and progression in Tensura: Reincarnated and includes an FTB Quests quest book. Its quests give players goals for exploration, creature and boss battles, skill development, racial paths, and rank progression. The book also includes guides and challenges for magic, resistances, summoning, crafting, ascension, and rewards.

The current book contains **64 chapters** and includes English and Brazilian Portuguese translation files. Some chapters focus on the base Tensura experience, while others cover specific addons. You can play the core quest lines without every addon, but **completing the entire book requires the addons listed below**.

## Requirements

– Minecraft **1.21.1** with **NeoForge**.
– **Tensura: Reincarnated**, **FTB Quests**, and **Tensura FTB** for the quest book. FTB Library and FTB Teams are part of the FTB Quests dependency stack.
– The regular Aegnis: Sovereign Eclipse dependencies, including **TR Nightmare**, are still required to launch the mod.

## Addons covered by optional quest chapters

The quest files are bundled in the Aegnis JAR. When FTB Quests and Tensura FTB are installed, Aegnis adds missing quest files during startup. Existing chapter and reward-table files are preserved; new translation entries and chapter groups are merged without deleting existing entries. If another quest book already uses the same chapter filename, that file is kept and the bundled version of that chapter is skipped.

Installation

1. Install Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.

2. Install all required dependencies.

3. Place the Aegis Ascension JAR inside the mods folder.

4. Install the mod on both the client and server when playing multiplayer.
