Tensura: Xenos is an expansion addon for the Tensura mod, introducing new powers, races, bosses, and more built around distinct playstyles and carefully crafted animations, visual effects, and sound design.

The current release focuses on three major additions: Shinobi Clans, Blade Spirits, and the Saiyajin race.

Shinobi Clans

Discover Lineage Blood to awaken one of eight Shinobi clans

Available Clans

• Allsight — Reveal hidden threats, deliver precise palm strikes, and surround yourself with a rotating defense.
  – Demon Eye — Read enemy movements, learn compatible techniques you witness, and deceive opponents with Genjutsu.
  – Marrowborn — Shape your bones into protective armor, a personal blade, and volleys of piercing projectiles.
  – Senrin — Command living wood to pierce enemies, bind their movements, and create a wooden clone.
  – Yukiri — Control the battlefield with ice shards, freezing eruptions, and imprisoning crystal mirrors.
  – Scorchborn — Surround yourself with living flames and unleash searing waves and explosive fire.
  – Mireborn — Reshape the battlefield with mudslides, trapping swamps, and protective walls.
  – Steelblood — Harden your body and shape metal into charged projectiles, sweeping blades, and a defensive shield.

Lineage Blood has a 1% loot chance in wizard tower chests, including their ruined, buried, frozen, rotted, and burnt variants.

Blade Spirits

Uncover an Ancient Blade to bind one of eight Blade Spirits and receive its signature weapon.

Available Blade Spirits

• Emberlord — Consume enemies with blazing sword strikes and towering eruptions of flame.
  – Frostfang — Hunt opponents with pursuing ice and unleash the power of Frozen Heavens.
  – Moonbreaker — Charge your blade with surging energy and release powerful crescents and crossing slashes.
  – Serpentneedle — Extend your blade to pierce distant enemies and sweep through foes beyond ordinary reach.
  – Iron Maw — Deliver crushing, one-handed attacks that break guards and split the ground.
  – Glass Mirage — Conceal your presence, misdirect enemies with a false image, and control the fight through illusions.
  – Sakuratempest — Scatter blossom-pink blades into a cutting storm and sweeping Blade Tide.
  – Crimsonveil — Strike with a stunning crimson lash and defend yourself with Bloodveil.

Toggle your Blade Spirit skill off to dismiss its sword, or toggle it on to recover a missing blade.

Ancient Blades have a 1% chance to appear as archaeology rewards in Hell ruins.

Saiyajin

Saiyajin can be chosen from the race menu and comes initially with Great Ape and Power Boost, unless on choice you get very lucky and instead become a Legendary Saiyajin

Racial Powers and Transformations

• Power Boost / Legendary Growth — Develop your racial potential through combat.
  – Great Ape — Look at an exposed full moon to awaken a towering beast with crushing melee attacks, Ground Slam, and Mouth Blast.
  – Fake Moon — Earn the ability to create an artificial moon after mastering Great Ape.
  – Super Saiyajin — Awaken a golden transformation that strengthens your body, speed, and battlewill.
  – Legendary Super Saiyajin — Unleash greater size, strength, and Aura at a higher upkeep cost.

Great Ape runs wild until mastered, automatically pursuing and attacking nearby creatures while respecting its attack costs and cooldowns. Losing exposure to the moon ends the transformation.

Super forms first awaken at 400,000 permanent EP or higher while near death, immediately transforming and fully healing the player.

Saiyajin can also shear off their tails to temporarily remove Great Ape. The tail eventually regrows, restoring the skill and its earned mastery.

Planned Content

Xenos is still actively growing. Future updates are planned to expand the addon with:

– Additional powers and races
– Further transformations and progression paths.
– Bosses with unique encounters, abilities, and rewards.
– Original monsters and creatures.
– Weapons, armor, materials, and equipment connected to future content.

Our goal is to build a substantial Tensura expansion while keeping each addition fun, distinctive, and consistent with the base mod’s gameplay.
