This comprehensive collection of mods is meant to add depth and intrigue to the game. The main criteria for these mods is implementation, and specifically the question “how well does this fit in with the vanilla version of the game?” An obvious example is the Create mod, which incorporates itself in such a seamless and straightforward way that you could fool someone into thinking it was always in the game (if they weren’t familiar with Minecraft). Or, for another example, the amazing Farmer’s Delight mod, which truly feels like it belongs in the game anyways.

The intended outcome of this vision and criteria, is to produce an experience that feels deep, but also consistent; intriguing, but not overly-complicated.

The main aspects of the experience that I have focused on are as follows:

– The Create mod: The seamless implementation of kinetic machines, and their ability to enhance depth and add variety to the questions of resource management, and production, adds a compelling new world of opportunities for the creatively-minded (pun intended). For the purposes of this mod pack Create is “THE tech mod.”

-Survival game-play elements: This is affected by a handful of mods; primarily: Survival Reimagined, Tough as Nails, Serene Seasons, Diet, Spice of Life, and Better Combat.

    Notable features: Temperature, Seasons, Altered health and hunger system, Crop changes, and Food type/variety tracking.

-Content additions: The Team Abnormals mod Collection, Naturalist, Supplementaries, Farmer’s Delight, and even Christmas and Halloween mods, to add concentrated and consistent variety to the game.

-Quality of Life and optimization mods: A bunch of must-have mods to help computing performance, and offset the sad reality of Java’s lack of multi-threading, as well as user interface optimizations, additions, and changes. Things like Rubidium, and Oculus.

This collection is the result of many hours of testing of hundreds of the best mods from a ton of different mod makers.
