James’ MedievalCraft

James’ Medieval Craft is a Fabric modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 focused on medieval exploration and fantasy building.

World generation is expanded with Terralith and Tectonic for new biomes and terrain, plus The Aether, Twilight Forest, and Alex’s Caves for extra dimensions to explore. Structures like Dungeon Crawl, When Dungeons Arise, and the Ancient Structures and Luki’s series add ruins, strongholds, mansions, and full settlements to find out in the world.

Combat is overhauled with Epic Fight for a more skill based moveset, alongside Spartan Weaponry, Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks, Cataclysm, and Ice and Fire: Dragons for new weapons, magic, and bosses. Medieval Siege Machines and Jousting add more setpiece-style combat on top of that.

Building gets a big expansion too, with Macaw’s mod series, Chipped, Decocraft, and Nef’s Medieval Decoration adding blocks and furniture suited to castles, villages, and keeps, plus Camps. Castles. Carriages. for larger scale settlement building.

Farming and food are handled by Farmer’s Delight, Pam’s HarvestCraft 2, and Croptopia, and quality of life is covered by mods like JEI, Waystones, Xaero’s Minimap, Mouse Tweaks, and Sophisticated Storage to cut down on survival busywork. Performance mods like Sodium, ModernFix, and FerriteCore keep the pack running smooth despite the size.
