Critical Combat

**Critical Combat** is a skill-based combat mod that adds locational weak points, dismemberment, crawlers, gore effects, and chaotic body-part death bursts to Minecraft.

Aim carefully and land critical hits on specific body zones to change how fights play out. Headshots can blind or decapitate enemies, arm hits can disarm them, leg hits can cripple them, and removing both legs turns supported mobs into crawlers that drag themselves after you through one-block spaces.

**Compatibility**

– **Fresh Animations / Entity Model Features:** Critical Combat includes compatibility work for Fresh Animations/EMF model parts, including improved dismemberment visibility and witch head removal.
– **Frankenmobs:** Critical Combat now avoids applying its limb-hiding render changes to Frankenmobs, preventing stitched Frankenmob parts from rendering incorrectly.

**Gamerules**

– `/gamerule criticalcombat:gore true|false`  
  Enables or disables blood/gore particle effects.
– `/gamerule criticalcombat:crawler_egg true|false`  
  Enables or disables use of the Crawler Zombie Spawn Egg.
– `/gamerule criticalcombat:natural_crawlers true|false`  
  Enables or disables the low-chance naturally spawning crawler zombie variant.

Passive mobs are safe. For now.
