This pack contains a blend of mods designed around the core concepts of open-endedness, simple controls, and an immersive world. Found a settlement with Minecolonies, harness technology through the intuitive Create mod, or discover occult magic in tomes of old. Along with a variety of tweaks and fixes to vanilla code and design, the pack includes a slew of “Vanilla+” features such as new decoration blocks, chest loot, structures, and more minor additions.
The loose inspiration of this pack is Dwarf Fortress by bay12games, a masterpiece I have admittedly not had the constitution to face with my feeble mortal mind. The new deeper terrain generation and necessity for mining at different levels in the new Minecraft 1.18 update inspired me to form a pack that would compliment my obsession with underground bases and colony simulation.
