This mod pack improves the base game significantly without taking away from the vanilla experience. I have made the game more challenging (to an extent), scarier and better looking.

OPTIFINE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THIS MODPACK, DRAG THE OPTIFINE JAR INTO THE MODS FOLDER

Mods Include:

AppleSkin – Visualizes the food you’re eating in the HUD

Better Foliage – Adds foliage to flora making it better to look at

Better Third Person – Making it so that third person mode has a much smoother experience

Better Weather – Adding seasons and new types of weather to the game

Carry On – You can pick up full chests and other blocks to take away the hassle of managing chests

Double Slabs – Can stack two slab types on each other and adds vertical slabs

Dynamic Music – Making music appropriate for the situation you’re in

Dynamic Surroundings – Giving a more realistic feel to a empty sounding world

Dynamic Trees/+ – Updating trees and other flora to make it significantly more interesting

Enchantment Descriptions – Shows what enchantments do in books

FastFurnace/FastWorkbench – Improves the lag of furnaces and crafting tables

Just Enough Items – Basically a better crafting book

Just Enough Resources – Can see loot tables of mob drops and randomly generated chests

MineTogether – For multiplayer this makes it easy to run a good smp server

Morpheus – Adds sleep voting for multiplayer servers

Mouse Tweaks – Gives better mouse mechanics

OptiForge – Makes it easy to install optifine to your mod pack by only dragging the optifine jar file into the mods folder

Passable Foliage – Makes it so you can walk through leaves and other foliage

Project: Vibrant Journeys – Drastically improves the look world by adding groundcover and improved lakes/beaches to name a few

Snow! Real Magic! – Makes snow look a lot more natural

Spiders 2.0 – Animates spiders climbing on walls

StepUp – Automatically steps up 1 block high removing the need of jumping up blocks

Swing Through Grass – Prioritizes mobs when using a sword in tall grass

TerraForged – Overhauls the vanilla generations system with new terrain

Torch Slabs – Can place torches on slabs

Total Darkness – Brings complete darkness to areas without any light

Traverse Reforged – Adding a bunch of new biomes to explore
