Sky Vaults Support (SkyBlock)

Sky Vaults Support is a SkyBlock addon for server-sided skyblock support. The mod is developed in inspiration to support simple multiplayer server for the modpack “Vaulthunterd 3rd Edition” by iskall85. However the mod may be used for other modpacks, as it offers server-sided skyblock support. Below are out-of the box supported modpacks for the mod, any not out of the box modpack also works fine. Requires some JSON configuration to be done by yourself.

This mod is fully server-sided, meaning that any modpack can run with this mod, without requiring your player base to altar their modpack profile.

Out-of-the-box modpacks

The mod automatically detects which mods are found within your server and, based on this generates a configuration file for the permissions for that modpack. Currently certified and supported mod packs:

• “Vault Hunters S3” by Iskall85.
• “Wold’s Vaults” by the_iwolfking.
• A minimal configuration will be used if none of the above is found.

When creating an issue, describe the events that made the error, issue or bug occur, and the version of the mod that you are using. Console log/error code that is given in the console and/or in-game.

Server Setup

Setting up a skyblock server with the mod is quite simple and done quickly. After downloading the server files, for the modpack you wish to use it with, and running the setup you need todo the below steps depending on the modpack. After the steps below you can simply bootup the server, and create the first island with /island create. We suggest creating the first island yourself to be used as your spawn location for new players.

Vault Hunters S3

1. Remove the mod Terralith from the mods folder
2. Add this mod into the mods folder
3. Change level-type from default to the_vault:sky_vaults
4. Make sure to remove the world instance if generated

Wold’s Vaults

1. Remove the mods Terralith, Tectonic, all of Yung’X mods (I.E. Yung’s Ocean Temple… etc) from the mods folder
2. Add this mod to the mods folder
3. Change level-type from default to the_vault:sky_vaults
4. Make sure to remove the world instance if generated

Generic

1. Remove any world generating mods from the mods folder
2. Add this mod to the mods folder
3. Add void world created from single player in the server folder
