Create: Structures [addon]

Expands Minecraft’s world generation with new Create-powered structures. Villages can generate with working windmills, a desert water mill, and smaller hand-cranked buildings including a granary, sawmill, threshing floor, crank cottage, and press house.

Requires Create 6.x. Install on both client and server. Singleplayer: drop the jar into mods. Existing worlds keep their old villages; only villages generated after install can contain these buildings.

Free to use in any modpack — public or private, no permission needed.

What it does

• Village mills — real drive trains, not decorations: sails or a water wheel, shaft, gearbox, millstone, depot.
• Hand-worked shops — crank plus one machine (hoist, saw, fan, millstone, or press). Smaller footprint than a mill, so they fit lots a mill would lose.
• Early-game only — bearing, sails, water wheel, hand crank, shaft, gearbox, millstone, depot, saw, fan, press. Nothing mid-game.
• Vanilla generation — appended to existing village house pools. Vanilla houses stay; other pool-adding mods still work.
• About one extra building per village — mill weight 6, hand-worked weight 2.

Commands

Vanilla /locate structure cannot find these — they are pool pieces inside minecraft:village_*, not standalone structures.

Operator only (same permission level as /locate and /place):

Building ids: plains_windmill, taiga_windmill, savanna_windmill, snowy_windmill, desert_water_mill, plains_granary, taiga_sawmill, savanna_threshing_floor, snowy_crank_cottage, desert_press_house.

locate / tp scan nearby village starts for this mod’s pieces. A mill is roughly one house in fourteen; a hand-worked building about one in forty — several villages in a row can miss.

Compatibility

No config file. Weights are fixed.
