I primarily made this modpack to provide a more challenging experience. It isn’t designed to be outright frustrating but does try to give the players goals to obtain, puts reasonable obstacles in their way, and provides them with the necessary tools to set out toward those goals.

This modpack strives to make the game feel more like a survival game by adding inherent danger. The nights are longer and the dungeons darker.
– Uses several dungeon mods to increase the amount of dungeons, variety of dungeons, loot and enemies encountered.
– Has increased enemy spawns in the dark, both in terms on quantity and variety.
– Has new tiers of enemies based on location

Another focal point of the mod is exploration, it tries to balance a desire to never leave your base with the knowledge of new sights and untold adventures.
– Has several dimensions to explore (the Twilight Forest, The Deep Dark, The betweenlands, The aether, and more).
– While the dungeons are more dangerous they are all varied a lot more and have more in-depth loot.

To assist with living in a more dangerous world different tech and magic progressions have been added
-Several mods revolving around combat magic have been added
-Tinkers’ construct and a few tech options have been added for combat purposes

Finally, automation and basic quality of life has been improved as well to make staying home on dark nights seem less daunting.
