Dungeoned Note Blocks x Mielon’s The Sift
A lightweight Fabric companion mod for Dungeoned Note Blocks and The Sift.
This mod adds additional functionality to the Dungeoned Note Blocks resource pack, including horizontal Note Block orientation and optional integration with Mielon’s The Sift.
It is designed to complement the resource pack without changing the core Note Block experience.
✨ Features
🔄 Horizontal Note Block Facing
Note Blocks can be placed with a horizontal facing direction, allowing the bottom of the Note Block to face the player when placed.
This makes the custom note textures easier to use and align in builds.
🎶 Mielon’s The Sift Integration
With Mielon’s The Sift installed, Note Blocks placed on Sonorous Deepslate in Note Mode can use the eight Sonorous colors provided by the resource pack.
The selected color is determined by the note, allowing melodies to be represented visually.
⚙️ Configurable
The mod includes a configuration file with options for:
- Horizontal facing
- Sonorous PLING behavior
- Top-face requirements
- PLING preservation when updating blocks
- Debug logging
🧩 Compatibility
Mielon’s The Sift is optional.
- Without Mielon’s The Sift: horizontal Note Block facing and other core features remain available.
- With Mielon’s The Sift The Sift: additional Sonorous Note Block functionality is enabled.
