Cherry SMP – A living project

The official modpack for Cherry SMP!

You may now be wondering what is meant by “living”. The Cherry SMP (Modpack) is continuously developing, just differently than normal modpacks, it starts with Vanila and just a few platform, performance and HUD improvements to a full-fledged modpack with content mods that go far beyond Vanila towards the end of the project.
This development is not the result of an “unfinished” modpack, but rather the goal of giving our players a journey. A journey from the new 1.20 features and gameplay experiences through an insight into what Minecraft should have been (Vanila +) to a fantastic world with limitless modded possibilities.

• over 20 performance mods, handpicked and tailored to your gameplay

• Sodium optimized

• five shaders onboard (no extra Download)

• All Optifine Texturepack creation options that are not integrated with sodium, for creative freedom (models, skyboxes, etc.)

• JEI, Spyglass, Inventory HUD and other HUD Mods

• Chat improvements and in-game voice chat (only on our server, otherwise you have to configure it yourself on your own server, as it is not a client-only mod.)

• Friendly open source claiming system with Open-pac Claims Mod, integrates into almost every known mini and world map. Fully configurable in the configs.

•  See beyond the limits of the server calculated render distance, without additional performance, using Farsight. (Only relevant and required in multiplayer, as this problem does not arise in single player) (only on our server, otherwise you have to configure it yourself on your own server, as it is not a client-only mod.)

• Vanilla+ Mods (Post system, harvest optimization,Essential mods for finance and economic system, RP Mods, etc.) [Will be constantly updated during the active phase of the project]

• Mods that match Vanila (Various animal mods, chipped mod [each vanilla block gets new variants, unlike Chisel, where torches sometimes become candles and light bulbs], more plants and vegetation mods, more decoration in the vanilla style, more gameplay mods like double doors at the same time open and much more!) [Will be constantly updated during the active phase of the project]  

• Content Mods (Mods that bring completely new features to the game, often features that the community says “feels too much like a modpack” when Mojang updates them into the normal game. E.g. Create, Backpacks, Dungeons, Farmer’s Delight, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. …) [Will be constantly updated during the active phase of the project]

Vielleicht fragst du dich jetzt, was gemeint ist mit “lebending”. Das Cherry SMP (Modpack) entwickelt sich kontinuerlich weiter, nur anders als normale Modpacks, fängt es hierbei mit Vanila und ledigtlich ein paar Plattform, Performance und HUD Verbesserungen hin zu einem vollwertigen Modpack mit weit über Vanila hinausgehenden Content Mods gegen Ende des Projektes.
Diese Entwicklung ist keine Folge eines “unfertigen” Modpacks, sondern dem Ziel, unseren Spielern eine Reise zu ermöglichen. Eine Reise von den neuen 1.20 Features und Gameplay Erfahrungen über einen Einblick, wie Minecraft hätte sein sollen (Vanila +) hin zu einer Fantastischen Welt mit grenzenlosen, gemoddeten Möglichkeiten.
