Matters of Scale

Have you ever been disappointed at your factory being so efficient but taking up no space, making it look empty?
Have you ever been stuck working with low level materials just because recipes require them?
Then this modpack is for you!

Matters of Scale is a modpack centered around tiered automation.

Things you will find in this modpack:

Automation

The endgame is no longer just throwing thousands of items into a condenser, now you’ll have to expand your factory to produce just about everything if you want to finish the modpack

Alternate recipes

Once you craft milestone items, it will become easier to automate them through more convenient recipes.
If you have a processing line already set up, you may find out that some of the items can also be used for other recipes. Ore generation has been tweaked to allow a lot more mods to compete, without having an objective “best method”.

Tiers

Both materials and mods have been split into tiers. Higher tier machines will process more items and provide more efficient recipes, while higher tier items will give better outputs when crafting.

Turtling  / Skyblock-lite

Recipes have been tweaked so that you will never need to go explore, letting you focus on building your base

Very little grind

Everything, from early to endgame, has been designed to spend as little time as possible idling while waiting for machines to process, so you can keep working on making them better.

Scaling energy economy

Bigger machines will, of course, consume more energy. This will also let you use your main base’s energy grid to power smaller, cheaper outposts.
