Maid Mining

Maid Mining
A Touhou Little Maid extension that gives maids the ability to
autonomously mine ores. Just give your maid a pickaxe and switch her
task mode to Mining – she will do the rest!

FEATURES
Enchanted pickaxes work as they do for a player: Fortune increases
ore yield and Silk Touch keeps the block itself
Automatic ore search within a 3×3 chunk radius (48 blocks)
Tunnel digging: the maid automatically digs tunnels to reach ores
Scaffold climbing: navigates vertical terrain by placing and climbing
blocks, using only cheap filler blocks – never your diamonds or chests
Offhand targeting: put a raw ore, ingot, dust or gem in the maid’s
offhand to mine only that ore type
Configurable: 35 server-side options (search radius, behaviour, safety,
compatibility) – no more hardcoded values
Safe by default: the maid refuses to enter lava, consumes no tool
durability, and never digs up containers or player valuables
Cross-mod compatibility: supports Forge and Fabric ore tags, plus any
mod pickaxe that behaves like a pickaxe

HOW TO USE
Give your maid a pickaxe (iron or better); enchanted pickaxes work
(Optional) Put a raw ore in her offhand to target a specific ore type
Open the maid’s task menu and select Mining
She will automatically search for ores and dig tunnels to reach them
NOTES
Breaking blocks is instantaneous, so Efficiency and Mending have no
effect by design. The maid also does not consume pickaxe durability
by default; both can be changed in the config.
The maid digs real tunnels, so use her in a resource area or a
dedicated save.
Protection mods that hook Forge’s entity block-break event can stop
her. For stricter protection (most land-claim plugins), enable
compat.fakePlayerMode in the config so she breaks blocks through the
player code path.
