🪓 Falling Tree (Treecapitator)

Tired of spending half your day chopping down a single giant tree? Annoyed by players leaving floating tree tops on your server? Falling Tree is here to fix that!

This datapack brings back the classic Treecapitator experience to your game. Simply take out your axe, hold Shift (Crouch), break the bottom log of a tree, and watch the whole thing come crashing down at once!

• One-Hit Chopping: Break a single log, and the entire connected tree falls.
• Time Saver: Spend less time grinding for wood and more time building your base.
• Clean Forests: Completely eliminates the annoying floating tree problem.
• Tool Friendly: Works with vanilla axes and supported modded axes.
• Crouch to Activate: Hold Shift while breaking a log to activate Falling Tree. Break logs normally without crouching.

⚒️ How to Use

1. Equip an axe.

2. Walk up to a tree.

3. Hold Shift (Crouch).

4. Break the bottom log.

5. Collect your massive pile of wood!

Note: You must hold Shift while breaking a log to activate the datapack.

⚙️ Minecraft 26.3 — Large Tree Support

For Minecraft 26.3 only, you can increase the maximum command sequence length to allow Falling Tree to process exceptionally large trees:

/gamerule minecraft:max_command_sequence_length 200000

This is optional but recommended when chopping exceptionally large trees that may exceed the default command sequence limit.

You do not need to run this command for normal gameplay.
