Infinite Backrooms

This mod is in its early stages, don’t expect it to be stable or have much content! the only level in so far is level 0, but there will be more added later on. this mod is somewhat performance heavy so it is recommended to use performance mods along with this one.

This mod adds several new items such as:

Unknown Artifact: required to enter the backrooms. even just touching this item will send you to the backrooms, so try not to craft it without intention.

Glass Shards: crafted from empty glass bottles, they are required to create the backroom beacon.

Anomalous Wooden Planks: these are dropped from mining the walls of the backrooms, which can be crafted into blocks. these are also required to create the backroom beacon. (note: currently does not work as a wood substitute, so for now it is impossible to create the backroom beacon without bringing wood into the backrooms with you).

Backroom Beacon: used to set your spawn within the backrooms. these require an ender pearl which may be brung from the outside world, or dropped from enderman which spawn 2 thousand blocks from 0 0.

Level 0 Disc: a music disc originally composed by Dapper Husky.

Impending Doom: a paranormal status effect that gives you darkness and slowness. it will also drain your oxygen considerably fast, so it is a dangerous effect to have.

There are two entities you will find in the backrooms. one type is called “Hallucinations”. these will simply stare at you from far away, It is not recommended to hit or kill them.

The other type however, is far more dangerous. They are a red variant called “Feeders” which will actively try to kill you. They give you the “Impending Doom” effect, drain your hunger, and they have a large healthpool. luckily they only spawn 3 thousand blocks from 0 0, but on the rare chance you meet one it is advised to simply run for your life.

Exits in Level 0 simply go back to the overworld for now, which will be changed in the next update. they spawn as uniquely coloured blocks 5 thousand blocks away from 0 0 in the backrooms. Level 0 is the safest level, but i am planning on adding more challenging levels later on with hostile entities.
