Tiamat Survival

It had started as such a nice day.  We had started the day working on a new mineral extraction site, but as the sun fell we broke into…  something.  A strange room with stone pillars with glowing runes.  A group of cultists were pulling a strange vapor from a portal in the center of the room when our earth movers broke trough and broke one of the pillars.  Everyone on site died within hours and the vapors were released…  We managed to end the release of these corrupting vapors by collapsing the chamber.  But the damage was done.  Strange mutated creatures began being spotted.  some foul twisted monsters.  Some beautiful exotic human crossbreeds. Most of them extremely hostile.  Our only hope is someone can find where those vapors came from, find the source and shut it down and find a cure.

This is a modpack for the Tiamat community.  Right now we have several different forms of tech, magic, and exploration style mods with a healthy sprinkling of cosmetic tomfoolery.  The largest addition is a complete rework of the creatures.  The most dangerous of these mostly coming out at night.  Living forest that spread and die off on there own.  And a new dimension called the betweenlands.  It is a dimension of corruption and decay where only the equipment you scrounge there will do you any good.  So get your big boy pants on and get ready for a good time and a hard fight.

To play the pack as intended its recommended you install optifine and use its built in dynamic lighting.  However I have left dynamic lighting in the modpack so if you dislike optifine and have a beefy computer you and re enable that instead.
