Fall Physics

Falling in Minecraft is just waiting for the ground. This mod lets you fly instead.

Hold nothing and you fall like normal.

Hold jump and you spread out. You fall slower and you can move around a lot.

Hold sneak and you dive. You drop fast, and your body follows where you look, so you can travel a long way sideways.

Normal jumping is not touched. The mod only kicks in after you have fallen 4 blocks.

Tricks

Tap sprint in the air to flip. W, S, A and D pick which flip you do. Do them one after another and you build a combo.

Tricks give you nothing. They just look good.

Damage

You get hurt by how fast you hit the ground, not by how far you fell.

Spreading out helps on short falls. It will not save you from a big one — from high up, every way of falling kills you. That is what the parachute is for.

Parachutes

Press R to open it. Press R again to cut it away.

You cannot open it while going too fast or it rips. Slow down first by spreading out. Carry a spare if you like taking risks.

Flares

Right click to throw one. It burns where it lands and gives off real light, so you can spot your landing place from way up.

Sneak + right click to light one in your hand. It leaves a smoke trail behind you as you fall. Four colours.

Wind

You see and hear the air as you speed up. Lines across the screen, wind noise, a bit of camera shake. You can turn any of it off.

Other stuff

• Works in multiplayer. Everyone on the server needs it.
• Works with Curios and Trinkets if you have them.
• Elytra, slow falling, boats and swimming all work like normal.
• Forge, NeoForge and Fabric, on 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. Fabric needs Fabric API.
