🌲⛏ Chain Mining (Forge 1.20.1)

Chain Mining is a lightweight quality-of-life mod for Minecraft (Forge 1.20.1).

Mine entire trees or ore veins instantly — but only if they are naturally generated.

🔥 Features

🌳 Tree Chopping

Break one naturally generated log and:

• All connected logs of the same type are mined instantly

• Chop down a whole tree with a single block break

Supports all vanilla wood types:

• Oak

• Spruce

• Birch

• Jungle

• Acacia

• Dark Oak

• Mangrove

• Cherry

• Crimson

• Warped

⛏ Ore Vein Mining

Break one naturally generated ore block and:

• The entire connected ore vein of the same type is mined

Supports:

• Overworld ores

• Deepslate ores

• Nether ores

• All vanilla ore types

🛑 Anti-Exploit Protection

Chain mining does NOT activate on player-placed blocks.

If you:

• Place logs in Creative

• Re-place Silk Touch mined ores

• Build artificial ore veins or trees

→ The chain reaction will NOT trigger.

This prevents:

• Exploits

• Accidental base destruction

• XP farm abuse

⚙ Technical Details

• Forge 1.20.1 compatible

• Server-side logic (multiplayer safe)

• Non-recursive BFS algorithm (stable performance)

• 128 block safety limit per chain

• No config required — works out of the box

🎮 How to Use

Simply break a naturally generated:

• 🌳 Log

• ⛏ Ore block

That’s it. The mod handles the rest automatically.
