MadnessSMP – Aeromagical Misadventures

Overview

This modpack is designed to be used by me and my friends, but I love sharing my creative endeavors.

The pack consists of Magic, Technology, Exploration, Dungeons, Gear, and Accessories.

Tech

Create and its add-ons (Aeronautics, Steam n’ Rails, Dreams n’ Desires) , and Immersive Engineering make a wonderful pair of complementary, if opposite, mecchanical marvels. The primary use of this pack is to make Aeronautical vessels but not everyone will do so, so Immersive Engineering is included for the more homestead folk.

Magic

Ars Nouveau and a number of its supplements with compatibilities with Create and Psi, a classic of sci-fi magical programming are used together (and/or) separately to enhance combat and utility around the airships.

Exploration

No small number of dungeons and structure mods litter the pack, with Yung’s series, When Dungeons Arise (base and Seven Seas), and Continents shaping world generation, the mod Sparse Structures is in place to reduce overall clutter, you dont want too many megadungeons after all.

Bosses

There are multiple dimensions and bosses to seek out, from Mowzie’s mobs, Cataclysm, Bosses of Mass Destruction, the Aether, and base game, each new realm explored and conquered adds to your arsenal and journey.

Gear

Tiers beyond netherite through Gobber2, Advanced netherite, and L2 complements help keep the game going beyond dimensional travel. Included are also plenty of more relaxed trades, like fishing and enchantment industry making higher tier books. For the dedicated, Apotheosis’s gem slotting will keep pace with Simply Sword’s runic equipment and legendary gear.

Accessories

Relics, Artifacts, Baubles, these are the main bulk of gear to find, equip, enhance, and evolve as you use them. With Reliquified Ars Nouveau and Artifacts, the artifacts and magical items you find can be enhanced through the Relics system, giving you new potential highs to reach. With L2 Artifacts, though heights reach Godly in potential.
