Description

This is a faithful vanilla modpack focused on performance and simple cosmetic improvements. No new game mechanics, items, mobs, etc.

These mods were carefully selected for those who wish to keep the game as vanilla as possible without forgoing the amazing performance mods, visual bug fixes, and lightweight shaders that are available.

Focused on performance

• Rendering performance (Sodium)
• Reduced memory usage (FerriteCore)

Cosmetic improvements

• Shader support (Iris) with pre-installed MakeUp Ultra Fast for quality/performance/faithful feel.
• F3 debug screen more human-readable with custom colors, positions, spacings (BetterF3, MiniHUD)
• Extended view-distance beyond the server’s view-distance with client-side chunk caching (Bobby)
• Connected textures (Continuity)

Vanilla QoL

• Toggle in-game schematic hologram for building, import/export schematic files, view material list (Litematica)
• Toggle display of structure bounding boxes (nether fortress, slime chunk, etc) (MiniHUD)
• VanillaTweaks datapacks, see link to custom pack (vanillatweaks.net)
• NBT Autocomplete adds suggestions for NBT tags when typing commands
• Controlling adds functionality to the KeyBinding menu: searchable binds by name or by key, better conflict resolution
• Carpet, Carpet Extra and Tweakeroo are large mods which at times go beyond vanilla. That’s why they are largely disabled by default. These mods add bugfixes and a large amount of QoL improvements ready to be enabled via config. One common usecase is accurate block placement (enabled by Tweakeroo, requires Carpet Extra server-side) allowing pistons/observers/etc to be placed in difficult-to-reach orientations. Carpet mod is a popular choice for designing and testing technical farms due to its large amount of realtime logging, stat tracking, and player/bot control. This summary barely scratches the surface of what Carpet mod can do. All functionality is disabled until configured otherwise.

Security

• No Chat Reports disables player chat reporting by making it impossible to track and associate your chat messages with your Minecraft and, by extension, Microsoft account.

Many of these mods have a wealth of features which are either not captured in this quick reference or simple not yet configured. Below are just some simple commands to get started using some basic features right away.
