CardinalCraft Medieval Edition Take Two

CardinalCraft Medieval Edition Take Two is an overhaul of the first CardinalCraft Medieval Edition.  It mainly simplifies the mod so it’s more difficult in some senses, but more simplistic and better for new players.

There are many new features.  for example, the combat system is completely overhauled.  Now, you have combat mode, which changes the swinging animation, and allows you to use special skills which are learned from books that you collect around the world.  These skills can do anything from making your sword swings faster and stronger to giving you double jumps!

Aside from direct combat, there’s also the recruits mod, which allows you to hire warriors within the villages you find.  these warriors, once hired, will follow you around, take orders from you, and fight on your behalf.  The more you hire, the more powerful you will become.  with enough time, effort, and emeralds, you can claim your own land and make your own faction!  This, combined with Epic Knights, which adds new armor and weapons, makes for a fun and engaging experience.

Outside of combat, both farming and forging are expanded upon.  There are many new crops, such as corn, oats, barley, tomatoes, strawberries, and more! cooking has also become more detailed with the addition of bread knives, cooking pots, stoves, mixing bowls, and more!  for forging, the progression is completely changed.  instead of going from wood to stone to iron to diamond, you start with wood, go to stone, go to copper, then go to iron, then go to steel, then finally, go to diamond.  It’s somewhat complicated, but luckily JEI is in the modpack and will help you craft whatever you need!

This modpack was made for multiplayer, but will work fine with singleplayer as well.
