Bring Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks magic to The Aether with 16 themed spells, island shrines, spellcasting enemies, mage equipment and repeatable dungeon battles.

Available for Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1.

✨ Features at a Glance

📜 16 Aether-Themed Spells

• Stonebreaker Shard — Hurl tumbling holy stones that can damage the Slider.
• Frostbound Crystal — Freeze the Sun Spirit with genuine Aether ice crystals.
• Valkyrie Lunge — Chain dashes, brand enemies and finish with a holy shockwave.
• Aerwhale Song — A spectral aerwhale damages foes and grants allies slow falling and jump boosts.
• Radiant Javelin — A piercing lance that erupts in holy light, damaging foes and healing allies.
• Thunderhead & Solar Flare — Attack nearby enemies with lightning clouds or a miniature sun.

Also includes Aercloud Step, Summon Moa, Cloud Sentinels, Aether Whirlwind and more. Iron’s Spells’ Throw with mining tools and Spectral Hammer can also fight the Slider.

🏛️ Island Shrines & Spellcaster Mobs

Find two shrines on the Aether’s floating islands:

• Valkyrie Sanctum — Battle Valkyrie Sorceresses and collect Victory Medals.
• Solar Altar — Face Solar Acolytes wielding solar magic and fire minions.

Both offer chests containing scrolls, materials and rare equipment.

🛡️ 3D Mage Armors with Unique Abilities

Upgrade Aether armor using Aether Arcane Upgrade Templates:

• Valkyrie Mage Armor — Brief flight, fall protection and faster airborne casting.
• Phoenix Mage Armor — Fire and lava protection, plus Nirvana to survive a lethal hit and recover health.

Both sets include animated 3D models and flowing capes.

⚔️ Staves, Spellblades & Accessories

• 4 spellblades with stored spells and Aether weapon abilities.
• 5 staves with 3D models and particles.
• Boss spellbooks — Slider Codex, Valkyrie Grimoire and Solar Codex, with 8 / 10 / 12 slots.
• 4 accessories — Ring, pendant, gloves and mantle, supporting matching Aether and Curios slots.

🗝️ Dungeon Vaults & Guardian Rematches

Defeat a dungeon guardian to turn unopened, locked treasure chests into Carved, Angelic or Hellfire Vaults. Each player spends a matching key for independent loot, ejected all at once. Participants receive keys directly, with pending delivery for offline players or full inventories.

Offer a Sentry Core, Valkyrie’s Oath or Solar Ember to the matching guardian’s soul to restore its arena and summon it again. Revival resets vault rewards by default.

Optional Iron’s Spells vault compatibility refreshes nearby vaults upon Dead King revival. This option is disabled by default.

📦 Requirements & Compatibility

Both versions require Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks, The Aether, and their required libraries.

Use Java 17 for 1.20.1 and Java 21 for 1.21.1.

🎮 Modpack Usage

Public and private modpacks are welcome. No additional permission is required.
