The Grand Tour

100+ levels. 21 worlds. One marble.

The Grand Tour is an adventure map for the Ball Mode mod. Every level floats high above the void, so one wrong roll and you’re falling. Luckily there are checkpoints.

It starts easy. Level 1 is a wide path with a couple of speed boosts. By the end you’re dodging hammers on tracks one block wide, jumping onto moving platforms, and trying not to panic when a spinner comes around.

The worlds

• Meadow Lanes (1-5): grassy paths, your first jumps
• Quartz Skyway (6-10): white bridges in the clouds
• Sandstone Canyon (11-15): desert tracks and stepping stones
• Frostbite Ridge (16-20): ice. Good luck stopping.
• Nether Forge (21-25): blackstone, gold and hammers
• Jungle Ruins (26-30): mossy temples and floating islands
• Copper Works (31-35): a factory that never stops moving
• Prismarine Reef (36-40): sea-green tracks and lighthouses
• End Citadel (41-45): purpur towers and long drops
• Obsidian Gauntlet (46-50): the hard part
• Cherry Blossom (51-55): pink cherry trees, bamboo bridges and tracks one block wide
• Haunted Hollow (56-60): cobwebs, gravestones and fast hammers and spinners
• Mushroom Kingdom (61-65): giant mushrooms and jump pads that bounce you from cap to cap
• Pirate Cove (66-70): ships in the sky, rafts and swinging anchors
• Neon Speedway (71-75): a racetrack at night. The light stripes glow when you roll over them.
• Deep Dark (76-80): sculk at midnight, narrow beams and the fastest hammers
• Candy Land (81-85): pink and white candy tracks and jump pads that bounce you over gaps
• Wild West (86-90): wooden bridges, cactus and a showdown at the end
• Marble Run (91-95): steep ramps and boosts, like a real marble run
• Space Station (96-100): metal tracks in the dark of space, always at night
• Volcano (101-105): magma, basalt and the fastest spinners. The hardest levels in the map.

How it works

• You start in a lobby. Pick a world at its pedestal and type the command on its sign, like /startlevel 1.
• Fall off and you go back to your last checkpoint. Press R to go back anytime.
• Every level has a timer and remembers your best time. Your best run shows up as a ghost, so you can race yourself.

What you need

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47 or newer
• The Ball Mode mod
• A shader pack is optional, but it looks great with one (the pictures use Photon)

Install

Unzip the map into your saves folder, start Minecraft and open Ball Mode – The Grand Tour.
