Escape the World

A slimmer modpack meant to show off key examples of the main Minecraft mods, as an alternative to popular content-packed modpacks. The main design goal for the pack is to add depth and variety, and tie mods together where possible.

Increase Depth

• Agriculture – A wide variety of foods, depth to livestock, and blocks to simplify cooking.
• The Nether – Biomes, mobs, food, and bosses; everything you need to make the Nether your home.
• Tools and Weapons – Build your tools piece by piece, and become more comfortable with them over time. Discover new types of tools and weapons to craft.
• Transportation – Whether you fly on the back of a winged stallion, at the controls of an airship, or prefer to fast travel, it’s all here.
• Pets – Turtles, hedgehogs, and dogs that learn tricks, oh my!
• Exploration – Explore a giant witch’s hut, battle your way to a tower boss, and unlock the paths to mysterious dimensions of puzzles, magic and… giant bugs?! While you’re at it, give one of those chance cubes a smack, and see what comes out. Just don’t get lost; bring an atlas with you to document your travels!
• Automation – Work towards more efficient resource processing, and bring it all together with a program you code!
• Magic – Delve deep into the mind of a mad thaumaturge, gaining access to great and powerful magics.

New to the game

• A better GUI – See where torches need to be placed, and move things around easier in your inventory.
• Collectibles – Hats and MiniHeads.

This pack will continue to be actively developed as time goes on. Please be sure to check the changelog before updating! I will try to make all new versions compatible with old version worlds.
