MCTier Library

This mod serves as the core framework required by all my MineColonies food tier patches. If you’re using any of my food patch mods (like the Pam’s HarvestCraft 2 – Food Expanded integration), you’ll need mctier installed alongside them. It handles the shared logic that slots modded food items into the MineColonies tiered food system, so your citizens correctly recognize and value foods from the mods I’ve added support for.

I don’t have enough knowledge in coding to implement what they’re suggesting in the discord (to use an API) so I welcome anyone who’s willing to explain what I need to do. Until now I’ll keep this published.

Full honesty, I know nothing about mods at all. There were a few things I wanted to change for QOL purposes to minecolonies so I tried really hard to figure out exactly what I could do. mctier exists because I got tired of duplicating the same logic across every food patch I was making, so I pulled it out into its own thing.

I don’t know what changes from version to version because I’ve never done anything like mod or make anything like this except for my MC server as a custom thing, which is typically perpetually using the ATM 9 modpack. I believe this should work with any version of minecolonies and forge. This could also hypothetically work for any other version of the game(?) but I have no idea, really.

But, I do run a MC server running 1.20.1 and ATM 9 with some custom additions. The server is specifically aimed at minecolonies and we have an economy and everything that I’m very proud of. Super small, super tight knit. So I’ll leave a discord link in the description.

Also, I’m disabled but I’m trying to be a writer ultimately, but I’m super project focused and my community is the proudest thing I’ve ever done. Everything I do will most likely be released for free, but I do want to say that I have a patreon because I make very little in my day to day. And if you pay money and say you’re from here, I’ll be more encouraged to actually figure out what to do and what to make past this involving Minecraft and Minecolonies.
