What kind of modpack is this?

This modpack is sort of an Expert Pack but it is not.

The intention is to provide a magical adventure with highly modified recipes but not forcing you to grind for tons of resources. Instead, a lot of the progression is tied to adventuring and exploration.

Most basic resources have easy to achieve generations so that you can build your dream base easily.

What kind of progression is in the pack?

Promoting exploration is one of the main goals of this modpack. Together with the story that leads you though the quests you will have to explore the worlds and dimensions to find new resources and open the way into the mods that are used in the pack. Make sure to observe the world, some quests open up when you encounter certain mobs or look at certain blocks.

Also a lot of progression is tied to Minecolonies. The NPCs help you craft key items throughout the story. Some of the crafts have to be researched first.

The research tree is modified, so it does not take any time to research just the items needed. There are also modifications to the normal minecolony progression to make it more in line with the pack progression. And some of the changes also make more sense to me.

But for those that don’t like to build a minecolony there is also an option to progress without building one.

You will still need to craft the blocks that are used to place the buildings in order to progress through the story and quests but if you choose there are alternative recipes for all the items that are crafted by the NPCs.
