The Slow Magics

This is a magic-themed modpack with magic mods that take a while.

This is not a modpack where you immediately gain superpowers.

You do, however, immediately get a house, some gear, and a map.

This modpack has a vanilla feel at first and builds into something more.

Explore to find plants, trees, large dungeons, many new animals, and new structures.

Build your home with Building Gadgets, Botany Pots, and a Blockheads kitchen.

Eat unique foods to gain hearts and powerups.

Some hints to get you started:

• Unique Crops: make a guide book with normie seeds and three vanilla seeds
• Eidolon: make a guide book with rotten flesh
• Astral Sorcery: make a guide book with aquamarines
• Pam’s: the gardens spread like mushrooms if you leave some
• Botany Pots: you’ll want so much clay
• Cooking for Blockheads: cook a book, also gather more clay
• Spice of Life: eating from the lunchbox doesn’t count towards eating new foods for extra hearts
• Tinker’s Construct has a 3×3 mining tool

Suggestions for custom keybindings:

• Carry On: ‘`’ rather than shift (and remove other keys bound there)
• Open backpack: ‘x’ rather than ‘b’ (and remove other keys bound there)
• Titles: ‘y’ rather than ‘t’
