No Safe Daylight

No Safe Daylight is a survival-focused modpack designed to remove the safety of daytime.

Zombies do not burn in sunlight, creating constant pressure and forcing players to rethink exploration, base building, and survival strategies. There is no “safe time” anymore.

This modpack focuses on tension, atmosphere, and challenge rather than complexity.

Shaders Support

This modpack supports shaders through Oculus.

Recommended Shaders

Use these to make the game even better (or scarier):

• Cursed Fog – Heavy atmosphere, low visibility, and feels like a real cursed apocalypse. 🙂

• Complementary Unbound – Beautiful skies, realistic water, and deep shadows. This is the one I usually use.

• Complementary Reimagined – Balanced but beautiful visuals. Recommended!

• Slider’s Vibrant Shaders – Smoother than most shaders. Still beautiful skies, water, and shadows. Highly recommended for slower computers.

For the smoothest gameplay overall, no shaders is also what’s up. 🙂

Survival Mechanics

This modpack includes thirst and temperature (Mod: Tough As Nails), as well as First Aid.

With First Aid, each part of your body can get hurt, so you’d better keep your hunger and thirst up!
Oh—and bandages are how you heal.

Difficulty & Zombies

I’ve tested this modpack to make sure it’s not too hard, but zombies spawn pretty frequently…
and they double at night. 😈

Weapons, Armor & Loot

This modpack includes tons of new weapons and armor.

You can find these items in:

• Gas stations

• RVs

• Other structures

And don’t forget about the guns. 🙂

  (All your favorites!)

Wildlife Warning 🐻

You’ll probably run into some extra animals, just so you know.

One time I was playing my modpack and ran into a bear.
He was nice for a second—I was like, “Ohh, heyy bear!”
Then he suddenly struck me with his claws and took almost 5 hearts away.

After that, he ran like a million miles per hour.
I finally escaped by hiding behind a tree.

Soooo… maybe stay away from bears. 😅
