The farmer’s way to get metals: grow them.

OrePlant adds crops that grow ores. Craft a seed from nuggets, plant it on farmland, and harvest metal dust that crafts back into ingots and gems. It gives you a slow, renewable alternative to mining, ideal for farming-focused, peaceful and vanilla+ survival playthroughs on Fabric.

Processing

• 9 Iron Dust → 1 Iron Ingot
• 9 Gold Dust → 1 Gold Ingot
• 9 Diamond Dust → 1 Diamond

Mature ore crops also drop extra seeds, and Fortune increases the seed drop. They grow on farmland like wheat and accept bone meal.

Compatibility

• Fabric, with Fabric API required
• Works on both client and dedicated servers (install on both)
• No config and no extra dependencies
