Origins Minus

Origins focused on simplicity, not balance.

Requires Origins. Replaces all base origins.

Temporary Notice: Origins Minus 1.21 is only compatible with Origins 1.13.0-alpha.9 due to issues in subsequent versions.

Origins Minus is a collection of simple origins designed to replace the built-in set. Each origin is designed to:

• Be easy to understand and easy to remember
• Add something unique to the game feel
• Reduce the friction and difficulty of a specific aspect of the game
• Invoke no drawbacks (1 dot) or have a small implicit drawback (2 dots)
• Be opt-in fun, without punishing details you can forget
• Invite different builds via traversal mechanics
• Be ambiguously themed so you can add your own personality!

With this in mind, the new origins aren’t at all balanced against vanilla (or eachother!) – they’re just for fun.

Datapack versions can be directly downloaded from each branch: 1.19 – 1.20 – 1.21

Note that using this pack with Origins Forge or unmarked versions may result in non-functional powers.
