FunctionalChemical is a lightweight compatibility mod that extends Functional Storage to support Mekanism chemical types, allowing chemical resources to be stored using drawer-style storage blocks.

The mod focuses on bridging the gap between Functional Storage’s high-capacity, functional drawer system and Mekanism’s chemical ecosystem, enabling a more unified and convenient storage experience in modded Minecraft.

Intro

Mekanism introduces multiple non-standard resource types such as gases and other chemicals that are not treated as traditional items or fluids. While Functional Storage excels at managing large quantities of resources, it does not natively support Mekanism’s chemical system.

FunctionalChemical addresses this limitation by adding direct support for Mekanism chemicals within Functional Storage, allowing these resources to be stored, organized, and accessed through familiar drawer mechanics.

This mod is intended for players and modpack authors who:
