Immersive Addictives

Immersive Addictives

Immersive Addictives is a mod that adds a variety of addictive substances and beverages to Minecraft, each with unique mechanics and effects.

Tobacco

Tobacco plants can be grown and harvested. Dry tobacco leaves on a campfire to obtain Dried Tobacco Leaves, which can then be crafted into Cigarettes.

The mod also adds Vapes, which can either be crafted or obtained by trading with Dealer Villagers.

Every puff from a cigarette or vape has a 1 in 20,000 chance of causing cancer. Taking more hits increases your overall risk over time. If you develop cancer, you will gradually receive stronger negative effects until you eventually wither away. Cancer persists even after death, although it returns to an earlier, less harmful stage. Once cancer reaches its maximum stage, it can be cured by holding a Totem of Undying.

Coffee & Caffeine

Coffee plants produce Coffee Beans, which can be processed into Coffee or Espresso. Both drinks provide caffeine-related effects.

You can also trade with Dealer Villagers to obtain Energy Drinks, offering another way to consume caffeine.

Be careful not to consume too much caffeine—overdosing on coffee, espresso, and energy drinks can lead to severe negative effects.

Tea

You can find Mint naturally generating throughout the world. Mint and Weed Leaves can be used to brew different kinds of tea.

The in-game recipes and brewing process are fully explained, making it easy to learn how to prepare every type of tea.
